Sri Lanka confirms Pakistan tour

KARACHI: After a reassessment of the security arrangements, in Pakistan, the cricket authorities of Sri Lanka have confirmed the Pakistan trip, for the limited-over series as per schedule.

Talking to this correspondent, honorary secretary of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Mohan De Silva has said that after receiving the go-ahead from their government, they are all set to embark on the Pakistan tour.

“We will be leaving for Pakistan on September 24th for the limited-overs series in Karachi and Lahore”, Mohan De Silva said

Earlier, the Sri Lanka Government announced to reassess the security situation in Pakistan after receiving threats.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka are to play three T20i and as many ODI games in Karachi and Lahore.

The first match of the series will be held in Karachi on September 27th.
