Pakistan Blind Cricket Team Tour Sri Lanka

Lahore: 3 odis and 3 T-20 international blind cricket series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will start from 21st February in Colombo. 40 overs one day series first encounter will be played at the MCA ground, Colombo on 21st February, second one day international will be played on 22ndFebruary at the BRC ground while the last match of the series will be played on 25th February at Bloomfield ground.                                    

T -20 series will commence from 27th February, the opening match of the series will be played at the Bloomfield ground. Second match will be played on 28th February at the BRC ground and the final match of the series will be played at the BRC ground on 1st March. Nisar Ali is leading the green shirts including Sajid Nawaz, Riasat Khan,Zafar Iqbal, Fakhar Abbas, Shafiullah, Matiullah, Ayub Khan, Badar Munir, Moin Aslam, Shahzaib Haider, Mohsin Khan, Mohammad Ejaz, Sanaullah and Mohammad Rashid are part of the team, team officials Syed Salman Tariq Bukhari Manager, Mohammad Jamil Head Coach, Syed Abrar Hussain Shah Assistant Coach, Masood Jan Trainer and Asif Azeem will be Media Manager.

In the preparations for the series national blind team’s six days camp from 13th-18th February was organized at the Okara Gymkhana Okara. From a press conference at Lahore sports journalists association’s office, Captain Nisar Ali said that our team is ready mentally and physically for this crucial series, players did hard work to increase their fitness level at the camp. Sri Lanka’s recent performance is good as they defeated India. Islanders will have the home ground advantage but we are going Sri Lanka with full confidence. Along with senior players, young players are selected who performed well at the domestic season. This series would be a great chance for the young talent to show their skills. Head Coach Mohammad Jamil said that Sri Lankan blind is performing in both the formats and we have worked on all three departments batting, bowling and fielding. We hope that the team will win the series and will present a gift to the nation.
