Hanif Mohammad honoured at The Oval

KARACHI: The legendary Hanif Mohammad enjoyed iconic stature not only in Pakistan but the world over and that’s why the entire cricketing world mourned over his demise. The governing body of cricket, International Cricket Council expressed it’s grieve over the passing away of the legendary batsman followed by condolence messages from across the globe.

Meanwhile, the management of the Pakistan and England cricket teams also expressed their utmost respect for the late Hanif Mohammad.

The fourth test match of the Pak-England series is underway at the Oval and after the demise of Hanif Mohammad the flags, of both the teams, were flown at half-mast to honour the legendary batsman titled as the ‘Little master’.

Hanif Mohammad passed away in his hometown of Karachi, on Thursday evening, after prolonged illness.
