Under the “Supporting Future Stars programme” Cricket kit bags were distributed amongst 60 youngsters of the Rashid Latif Cricket Academy. USA Consulate Officer, Anna Maria was the special guest of the event.
In the event held in Karachi, kit bags were distributed amongst 60 young players of the Rashid Latif Cricket Academy under the programme, “Supporting Future Stars” by “The Medical Center Texas”, the sponsors of the USA cricket team, in Karachi, to participate in the Over 40 World Event.
On the occasion, Anna Maria, Public Diplomacy Officer of the USA Consulate, expressed her interest in the game of cricket. The chief guest also appreciated the sponsors’ generous efforts for youngsters.
Former captain Rashid Latif, through a video message, thanked the sponsors and the USA cricket team.
USA over-40 team captain Muhammad Farrukh, player Jan Nisar Khan, Pakistan Veteran Cricket Association Chairman Fawad Ijaz Khan and others also addressed the ceremony.
