Suspended airspace reason to shift PSL matches from Lahore

KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to shift the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches, scheduled in Lahore, to Karachi.

A source privy to the development said the decision is imperative as the airspace, over Lahore, is still not completely operational.

“A wide range of equipment has to be transported to Lahore before the scheduled PSL matches, which is now not possible”, the source added

The PCB is likely to make an official announcement in the regard later in the day.

Pakistan-leg matches to commence from 9 March; all eight matches to be played at the National Stadium.
