Inaugural Euro T20 slam postponed till next year

KARACHI: Just over a fortnight to the commencement, the much-awaited Euro T20 Slam – to be jointly hosted by Ireland, Netherlands, and  Scotland -, has been postponed till next year.
Talking to this correspondent, Co-Founder & Promoter of the T20 extravaganza, Prashant Ramesh Mishra confirmed “with a heavy heart” that the inaugural edition, of the Euro T20 Slam, has been pushed to a further date.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the league has just been pushed to a later date in 2020. It has not been canceled, I would like to reiterate this to you”, Prashant Ramesh Mishra emphasized
“The decision was taken with the unanimous consent of the ET20S family including the cricket boards of Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands. We as promoters are extremely confident that this is the most appropriate move and this gives us time to come back stronger”, Prashant Ramesh Mishra added
The Euro T20 Slam was due to run from 30 August to 22 September with two semi-finals and the final in Malahide.
