Hafeez undergoes bowling action test

Karachi: Pakistan all-rounder, Mohammad Hafeez has undergone the assessment of his bowling action at the ICC-accredited facility at Loughborough on Wednesday.

“During the assignment, Hafeez bowled four overs – two each from over & around the wicket – in the presence of the ICC representative”, a source said.

Hafeez’s bowling action was questioned during the recent one day series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the UAE.

The all-rounder was reported, for suspect bowling action, for the third time after 2014 and 2015.

In 2015, Hafeez was reported for the second time within a two-year period therefore, as per rules, barred from ICC-accredited reassessment for the next 12 months.

After clearing the test, with remodeled action, Mohammad Hafeez was allowed to resume bowling in international cricket in November last year.
