Afghan Cricketer Tarakai laid to rest in Nangarhar.

Karachi: Young Afghanistan National cricketer, Najeebullah Tarakai, who succumbed to the head injury he suffered as a result of a road accident, on Friday has been laid to rest in his native village of Hijrat Qalay in Nangarhar on Tuesday.

Tarakai, 29, was hit by a vehicle while crossing a busy road.

The right handed batsman, was injured while fielding during the recent “Shpageeza” as well however the injury was said to be minor.

Tarakai represented the national side in a solitary One-day International and 12 T20Is.
