HBL exits departmental Cricket, focuses on PSL

KARACHI: Pakistan’s renowned departmental Cricket outfit, Habib Bank Limited (HBL) will not be taking part in domestic competitions anymore as they decided to demobilise its cricket team.
“HBL is part of the nation’s fabric and its commitment towards cricket remains as strong as ever”, HBL spokesperson said in a press release.The spokesman was of the opinion  that the HBL’s title sponsorship of the Pakistan Super League’, over the last four years, reflects their passion for the development of youth and the discovery of cricketing talent.

“HBLPSL has given an opportunity to countless young cricketers to display their talent at a national and international level. This has led to an unprecedented talent pipeline for Pakistan cricket and has played an instrumental role in discovering players”, the spokesperson added.

“HBLPSL will continue to discover, groom and nurture young talent for the benefit of Pakistan Cricket”, the spokesperson concluded.
