Trophy Unveiling Ceremony of Pak-Sri Lanka ODI blind cricket series

The unveiling ceremony of the 3 one day international blind cricket series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka held at the Colombo auditorium hall. Pakistan and Sri Lankan teams and officials also companied. Captain Sri Lankan team Priyantha Kumara along with captain Pakistan blind team Nisar Ali unveiled the trophy. World Blind Cricket Limited Vice President and Blind Cricket Association of Sri Lanka Secretary Chamnda Pushpa Kumara, Head coach D- Lakshan, Manager Pakistan blind team Syed Salman Bukhari, Head coach Mohammad Jamil were also present. Islanders captain Priyantha Kumara said at the press conference that Pakistan blind team is recognized among best teams in the world but our team is ready to give them tough time.

We have come here to play good cricket and dont take Sri Lanka an easy team, we expect tough competition from both sides. Weather here is hot and we hope that players will adjust in the conditions. It is the first time Pakistan blind team has visit Sri Lanka and we would like to thank for such a warm welcome, said Nisar Ali captain Pakistan blind team. First match of the series will be played at MCA ground Colombo on 21st February.
