Sri Lanka nods for Lahore T20, dialogue begins with SA: PCB official

Karachi: The last Twenty20 international match of the series, between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, will be held in Lahore as per schedule. It was agreed upon between cricket board officials of Pakistan and Sri Lanka during a meeting in Auckland.

 

“Yes, Sri Lanka has agreed to tour Lahore for the last T20 match scheduled to be played on October 29th”, confirmed a PCB official

 

In other development, on the sidelines of the ICC meeting in Auckland, the Pakistan Cricket Board initiated dialogue with South Africa for a series, in South Africa, later this year.

 

“We have opened talks with the Cricket South Africa for a series later this year and the talks are progressing well”, the PCB official added.

 

It is believed that the bilateral series would be played in the same slot that the Global League was set to be organised.
