Karachi: Two suspect persons having fake PCB cards were arrested from within the premises of Gaddafi Stadium, during the proceedings PSL matches. They were identified as Abdullah and Tawwab Khan.
Both suspected persons having the status of diesel supplier driver on their fake PCB cards. Getting passes and tickets of PSL play offs and final are being considered one of the most precious things in the country now a days.
But how these person successfully got these PCB cards and that too in its head quarter in Lahore under its nose. As PCB administration claimed that zero tolerance would be shown towards lethargic attitude of any official.
PCB chairman Najam Sethi one week before the PSL matches clear cut announced that no one should contact him to get the passes and tickets of these matches because of the hot demands of these tickets and passes. He regretted that influential’s and elite class who can afford buying the tickets wanted free from the PCB.
But what would he say that how Abdullah and Tawwab Khan got the PCB cards it cannot be possible without involvement of the PCB‘s own staffers.
One can imagine that when getting tickets and passes of PSL matches proved so much difficult and PCB chairman announced himself for not contacting him for this purpose. How it is possible that two suspected person were successful in getting the PCB cards. It may be noted such types of PCB cards are made only for PCB Employees. Who is responsible in PCB for issuing these special cards to Abdullah and Tawwab Khan.
According to available reports, investigation is being carried out in this regard but let see what happen and who is responsible. It is pertinent to mention that inside the stadium passes are only issued on the recommendations of PCB. It would not be in the interest of Pakistan cricket.
Where are the foolproof security arrangements claims when fake persons arrested inside the stadium with having PCB passes.
The PCB media department should inform the common citizens about the ongoing investigations and real facts of this incident so that rumors and concocted stories did not spread and that PSL final is going to be organized in the peaceful manner.
