Karachi: The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), dubbed to be held in December 2020, is most likely to be postponed until next year.

A well-placed source, in the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), told this correspondent that after the scheduled Sri Lanka trip other commitments would not allow them to hold the BPL on time.

“West Indies are scheduled to visit Bangladesh in January next year. Some other commitments are too in line therefore the Bangladesh Premier League is most likely to be held in March 2021”, the source said

“The ongoing COVID-19 situation is of course one of the factors too”, the source concluded on a question.
